Centre de Développement Communautaire de la Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite

Building our hometown,
one brick, one street, one life at a time.

From a hospital and a nursing school to a radio station, a church, and the very names of our streets — CEDECOPRA unites the Haitian diaspora to build what Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite needs to thrive.

« Men anpil, chay pa lou. »Many hands make the load light.

The lasting development of our hometown

Sa nou fè — What we do

Permanent work, not passing help

We build institutions that stand, deliver services families rely on, and keep a scattered diaspora bound to the town it loves.

We Build

A hospital that heals, a school that trains nurses, a radio station that informs, a church that gathers — institutions with deep roots.

We Serve

Officiating marriages, shipping food and supplies to underserved communities, and standing with families through life's milestones.

We Connect

We are the bridge between Petit-Riviérois around the world and the hometown that raised them — turning distance into strength.

Who we are

"The generation that built a palace with 365 doors deserves descendants who build hospitals, schools, and futures."

The CEDECOPRA conviction

Lakay nou — Our home

Rooted in the Artibonite Valley

Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite sits in the heart of Haiti's breadbasket, where rice paddies stretch along the nation's longest river. It is a town of revolutionary history — home to the Palais aux 365 Portes and Fort Crête-à-Pierrot, where Haitian fighters made one of the defining stands of the revolution.

That heritage is our inheritance — and our standard.

The next project needs your hands

Every hospital bed, every classroom, every street sign in Petite Rivière exists because someone in the diaspora decided home was worth building. Become part of that story.
